David the main character in the movie who has been recently dumped by his wife made his life worse as he lives in a society in which being alone or single is the last thing one wants to do. It is compulsory for an individual to find a mate within 45 days if he or she is single. People who are not in any relationship are kept on a different resort to find themselves a suitable mate. This movie showcases the futility of life that how one runs after what the society wants forgetting your own individuality and your own self.

3. 10 Cloverfield Lane

Dan Trachtenberg made this movie which is a fantasy thriller. A woman who meets an accident gets unconscious and wakes up and finds herself locked in a cellar. The person who apparently saved her after the accident tries to make her believe that it is uninhabitable to go outside that cellar and doomsday is near and apocalypse will destroy everything. The woman unable to understand what the man proposes thinks of escaping that cellar and see for herself what exactly is happening. The journey of this woman from capture to escapism is shown in the movie. This movie was released on 10th of March 2016.

4. Swiss Army Man

Directed and written by Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan. This is a movie about a man who is stranded on an Island whit no hope of survival. Instead of starving to death he thinks of ending his life himself. One day a dead body washed up on the shore of the island he becomes friends with that corpse just to make him not feel loneliness. This epic friendship makes Hank the stranded man makes an army of the corpses he finds on the shore of the Island. Hank makes a world of his own which is purely fantastically magical.

5. Arrival

This specific movie was appreciated for its high experimentation with imagination and creativity. It is about a mysterious aircraft landing on Earth and a secret investigating team is on this mission to invade this specific aircraft and see what sort of creatures are on it. A woman who risks her life in search of answers to save the humanity is the plot of the story showcased in the movie.
