Singapore Air Show
Singapore Air Show
I recently attended Singapore’s Air Show and wasn’t sure what to expect. I have been to Chicago’s Air and Water Show and that is always an impressive time, even with the over crowdedness along North Ave Beach. I didn’t feel too far from home when I arrived and was slammed with the thousands of people walking around the area and surveying the many planes featured at the show. The lines to sit in the cock pits were 2 hours deep! Pretty cool, but not very appealing with 90 degree weather.
The Air Show was short and sweet. Not as elaborate or long as Chicago’s, but it held its own. I saw Singapore’s F-16s, Rebel 300 aerobatic aircraft from the USA and MiG-29Ns flown by the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It was a good mix of planes from different parts of the world. The tricks they did in the sky were captivating and made for great pictures.
The one I chose for this blog features the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes flying Pilatus PC-9/A planes. When I saw this picture at home, it just reminded me of a motivation poster I would see somewhere. So, I added one of my favorite inspirational quotes by Eleanor Roosevelt to complete the flip book cover. This is great if you are sending a flip book to a friend or family member to boost their spirits or maybe even after graduation. Sending a personalized flipbook is a great gift.
