Indy 500

Memorial Day marks my 4 year anniversary with my fiance.  In honor of our anniversary, I would like to share with you a picture from the Indy 500 in Indianapolis.  We had spent a long weekend together, enjoying the early summer days and attended the Indy 500 for the first time.  We had so much fun walking the entire track, stopping for drinks and snacks along the way.  Oddly enough, we both enjoy the loud humming buzz as the cars would whip by the track during the race.  On our way back to Chicago after the race, my fiance officially asked me to be his girl, like the way a highschool boy would ask “Will you be my girlfriend?”.  I can still remember it like it was yesterday.  From that weekend on, car races has always held a special place in our hearts.
