Engagement Rings
Engagement Rings – So many shapes, sizes, colors to choose from!!
There is so much chatter about Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring from Brad Pitt. They are finally engaged! Coming in at an estimated $250,000, the emerald cut, multi stone bling is a one-of-a-kind. Taking a year to put together, it was designed to wrap perfectly around her finger. I was able to find a decent picture here from People.com.
Engagement rings nowadays come in so many shapes, sizes and colors. The possibilities are endless, allowing for your fiance-to-be to find the perfect ring that suits you. Below is a picture of my engagement ring. I love color, big and bling and my fiance was able to find just that. Featured here is a sky blue topaz as the center stone with pave diamonds creating a halo around the topaz. The pave diamonds are also found on the sides of the ring which wrap around the band.
Adding another ring into the mix is a classic and elegant design of floating diamonds. The center stone is a diamond solitare complemented with 3 diamond side stones on each side. The way the stones are set in this ring create a floating effect.
With so many engagement ring options out there, how does your fiance find the right one? I suggest giving some hints randomly when you are together. “Oh look at that ring, that’s nice”, “Hmm, that is interesting.” Or go ring shopping together to try some on and let him know what styles you like. If you are a little too shy to go ring shopping together, enlist your best friend to drop some clues for you. Make sure your BF knows what you like. But at the end of the day, no matter what type of engagement ring you receive, just remember what it stands for <3 For those of you recently engaged, happy planning on your wedding!

Its good fortune that you are not droippng a crap ton of money on a diamond, and a sapphire is just as pretty (I dont like diamonds that much). But as far as being good luck , probably something they just tell girls that dont get diamonds, much like what they tell girls that its good luck when it rains on their wedding day.
